Acceptable Use Policy

You keep ownership of the notes, documents and prompts you upload. You confirm that you have the right to use the material you upload, and that doing so does not infringe anyone else's copyright or other rights.

• Uploading material you do not have the right to use, including pirated textbooks or paywalled papers obtained unlawfully.
• Using StudyPie to produce work you submit as your own where your school, college or university prohibits AI assistance.
• Generating or requesting unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexual content involving minors, or content designed to cause harm.
• Attempting to bypass usage limits, reverse engineer the service, scrape it at scale, or resell access to it.
• Probing, scanning or interfering with our infrastructure, or uploading malware.
• Uploading other people's personal or special category data without a lawful basis to do so.

Rules on AI assistance differ between institutions and between assessments. It is your responsibility to check your institution's policy before submitting anything produced with help from StudyPie. We provide study support; we do not provide ghostwriting, and we will cooperate with reasonable, lawful requests from institutions investigating misconduct.

AI generation and tutor messages are subject to the allowances published on our pricing page. Automated, bulk or commercial use beyond ordinary personal study may be rate limited or suspended.

Report abuse or a copyright concern to legal@studypie.co.uk with enough detail for us to identify the material. We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that breach this policy, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents us.
